Ana Lucia has produced/executive produced a number of feature and/or TV broadcast documentaries, including the award winning, ‘A Star Named Ayrton Senna’, ‘O Samba’, ‘Hold On Peon’, ‘Skank’ and ‘Blue Planet - The Great Barrier Reef and The Coral Sea.’ She's also produced many corporate films and dramatic shorts. She was an advisor on ‘Last Party 2000’, a documentary hosted by Oscar winning actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Before entering the film industry Ana Lucia spent many years as a successful top model. She was the first Brazilian model on the cover of an international fashion magazine and proceeded to work around the world at the top of her profession.
She then went on to study dramatic arts in Paris. She lived and worked in Milan, New York and Los Angeles before settling in London where she is now based, running Amazonian Studios. Most recently she produced three teaser scenes, taken from three of the features on Amazonian's development slate, as well as the short film, 'Losing Lola.'
